Christmas Giveaway Terms and Conditions

The Promoter
This competition is organised by The Educational Company of Ireland (EDCO), Lower Ballymount Road, Walkinstown, Dublin.

Eligibility

• Open to residents of Ireland aged 18 or over.

• Entrants must be primary or post-primary school staff (teacher, SNA, principal, etc.).

• No purchase necessary.

• One entry per person.

• How to Enter
• To enter, participants must:
  • Watch the Sunday Roast Act 1 video from Maths and Me;
  • Comment their estimate of the time the roast was put in the oven under the competition post;
  • Share the competition post to their stories (public or screenshot evidence if account is private);
• Like EDCO’s social media page.
  • Accessing teacher-only materials or Act 3 solution content is not permitted.

• The competition closes at 11:59am on 15 December 2025.

• Entries received after this deadline will not be accepted.

• Winners will be chosen based on whose estimate is closest to the correct time, as calculated in the full 3-Act Task.

  • 1st Prize: Maths and Me Class Set including access to thousands of interactive digital resources
  • 2nd Prize: A choice of 1 x Maths and Me Manipulative Kit
  • 3rd Prize: €50 One4All Voucher
    No cash alternative. EDCO may substitute a prize of similar value if necessary.

Winner Notification

• Winners will be contacted via direct message within 7 days of the closing date.

• Winners must respond within 14 days to claim their prize.

• If a winner fails to respond, EDCO reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Publicity

• By entering, participants consent to EDCO using their name and school for promotional purposes, subject to GDPR compliance.

Data Protection

• Data collected will be used solely for administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties.

• All data will be handled in accordance with GDPR.
